SewerAI is seeking a Part-Time Professional Engineer (PE) with deep expertise in sewer infrastructure and rehabilitation design to support our growing client base across the U.S. This role involves providing high-level consulting on pipeline condition assessment and rehabilitation recommendations using industry-standard methods and technologies.
What you'll do
- Review defect data and video inspection results of sanitary and storm sewer pipelines.
- Provide engineering recommendations for trenchless and open-cut rehabilitation methods (e.g., CIPP, pipe bursting, point repair).
- Apply relevant industry standards (e.g., NASSCO PACP, MACP, LACP) to generate recommendations.
- Assist in developing or reviewing rehabilitation plans and prioritization strategies for clients.

Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the U.S.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sewer rehabilitation, preferably across multiple U.S. regions.
- Strong knowledge of common rehab methods and materials (e.g., CIPP, slip lining, manhole rehab).
- Familiarity with NASSCO PACP standards and codes.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with municipalities or engineering consulting firms.
- Familiarity with asset management tools and sewer inspection platforms.
- GIS or CAD proficiency.
Work Environment & Commitment
- Hybrid Role with occasional virtual & in person consulting meetings
- The pay range for this role is 50 - 100 USD per hour (HQ)
